Avenged Sevenfold Finally Deliver Previously Unreleased Song ‘Set Me Free’
Avenged Sevenfold finally set one of their old tracks free, as "Set Me Free" is now available to fans on YouTube. It was originally recorded as part of their 2013 album Hail To The King, which topped the Billboard 200 at the time.
"Set Me Free" will join other previously unreleased songs on their 2008 B-sides album Diamonds in the Rough, which will be released on all major streaming services and retail providers Feb. 7 according to a user who posted a screenshot of the heavy metal band's message yesterday (Jan. 15).
"'Set Me Free' was previously recorded for the 'Hail To The King' album but has never been released until now," Avenged Sevenfold's message read. "It will be included on the streaming version of 'Diamonds in the Rough' coming Feb. 7."
Live In The LBC & Diamonds in the Rough, which climbed all the way to the No. 24 spot on the Billboard 200, was comprised of the group's first live DVD from their April 10, 2008 show at Long Beach Arena when they headlined the Taste Of Chaos Tour and a compilation album of B-sides recorded while making their 2007 eponymous LP, covers, and other never-before-heard tracks.
Avenged Sevenfold hasn't released an album since The Stage in October 2016.
