Shakira & Anuel AA Take Fans Behind the Fun Process of Making Their Song ‘Me Gusta’: Watch

Earlier this month, Shakira officially released her first of the year, “Me Gusta” with urban singer Anuel AA. Now, they're giving fans a special look at how the song was born.

On Thursday (Jan. 23), the Colombian superstar took to YouTube to share a two-minute clip, in which she appears working with her producers and Anuel AA on the track.

One of the scenes shows how Shak began chanting Inner Circle’s "Sweat," while in others, she and Annuel discuss how she would like him to record his lines.

"Me Gusta" is an upbeat reggaeton trap song that echoes the style of her 2016 Maluma collab "Chantaje." On "Me Gusta," Shakira and Anuel are a couple in love, but they've spent too much time together and are falling into bad habits, losing the sparks of love.
