Supreme dropped a surprise commercial on Sunday, this time featuring Katt Williams.
Williams has been kind of quiet recently. In 2018, he released his last comedy special Great America on Netflix and starred in Donald Glover’s hit FX show Atlanta for which Williams won an Emmy for. He also appeared in Black-ish.
In the commercial, Williams dons some upcoming Supreme f/w 2020 gear, including a box logo tee, as well as some 6ix9ineālike rainbow-colored hair. It is unclear whether it is a diss or a nod to 6ix9ine, but you can’t say the Brooklyn rapper’s influence isn’t there.
In the nearly seven-minute-long video, Williams addresses topics such as coronavirus, Trump’s reaction to the virus, and Black Lives Matter.
“If it doesn’t fit, it ain’t shit. And things in this world are starting to not fit. Right now, we have a perfectly suitable clown running the free world,” he says about Trump. “We got a guy who’s advice included things that no decent crackhead would tell you to do with a gunshot wound.”
He then criticizes Trump’s comments when he told people to ingest bleach if they have coronavirus symptoms.
He then talks about the civil unrest here in America. “Because we can all agree breathing is important, we can all agree that you putting your knee on a man’s neck for eight minutes … It’s just murder,” he continues. “It’s just televised murder. … I’m not gonna hide in a bunker, I’m on the front line with you… If you can’t make a choice, go ahead and put my name on there,” he says.
“I kept most of the jokes in quarantine if you were looking for a laugh” he adds.
