The 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards went down Tuesday night, hosted by the 85 South Show. The show is in its 15th year and has crowned Megan Thee Stallion as “Hip Hop Artist of the Year.”
Additional big victories during the night include Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” as “Song of the Year” and his Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial as “Album of the Year.”
The Best Collaboration went to Hot Girl Meg and Beyoncé for the “Savage” (Remix), “Best Lyricist” is Rapsody, and “Best New Artist” went to the late pop Smoke.
Master P was also received the 2020 “I Am Hip Hop” award.
