Every year it seems there are one or two names that are shockingly snapped from being in the NBA All-Star game. This year, the big name is Devin Booker.
Booker was among the top snubs in the Western Conference. All-Star captain LeBron James called Booker the “most disrespected player” in the NBA.
During the 2020-21 season, Booker has put together averages of 24.7 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 38.1 percent from the 3 point line. Booker’s teammate Chris Paul was named an All-Star and the feeling around the league was coaches weren’t going to have to Suns on the All-Star roster.
James wasn’t the only one who felt that Booker was snubbed. Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum also took to Twitter to show love to Booker.
While Booker didn’t get named to the reserves, it is most likely that he will be named to the All-Star game as a substitute for the injured Anthony Davis. If that is the case, it would be the second straight year Booker gets named an All-Star from an injury substitute.
