With the Grammys in the books, the 2021 Academy Awards are up next. On Monday, the Academy brought in Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to announced the 23 categories in the 93rd Oscars celebration.

Judas and the Black Messiah co-stars Daniel Kaluuya and LaKeith Stanfield are both nominated in the Actor in a Supporting Role. The category is rounded out by Sacha Baron Cohen for (The Trial of the Chicago 7), Leslie Odom Jr. (One Night in Miami), and Paul Raci (Sound of Metal).

The late Chadwick Boseman is nominated for Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, alongside Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal), Anthony Hopkins (The Father), Gary Oldman (Mank), and Steven Yeun (Minari).

Viola Davis for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Andra Day for The United States vs. Billie Holiday lead the Actress in a Leading Role category. They are joined by Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman), Frances McDormand (Nomadland), and Casey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman).

Best picture brings in The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah, Mank, Minari, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Sound of Metal, and the Trail of the Chicago 7.
