Dave East & Ransom Drop ‘The Final Call’ Album, Share Video for “Fairwells”

Dave East and Ransom have officially released their collaborative project, The Final Call, alongside a new music video for the track “Fairwells.” The project is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

The Final Call features guest appearances from Jay Electronica and Method Man, with production credits from V Don, MadeinTYO, and Prophecy. The project arrives on the anniversary of Malcolm X’s assassination, a choice Ransom says was deeply intentional.

“I have the deepest admiration for Brother Malcolm X,” Ransom shared. “The fact that he died basically homeless and without riches tells me everything I needed to know about his character. The Final Call releasing on the day he was killed is my way of showing appreciation through art.”
