Will Smith Announces ‘Based on a True Story’ Summer Tour Across Europe and the UK

Will Smith is heading back to the stage. The GRAMMY Award-winning artist and global entertainer has announced his upcoming Based on a True Story Summer Tour, set to launch July 13 in Hamburg, Germany. The international run will span major cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Morocco.

The tour coincides with the release of Smith’s first full-length album in two decades, Based on a True Story, arriving March 28. Fans can expect live performances of new tracks from the 14-song project, along with iconic hits like “Summertime,” “Miami,” and “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It.”

Tour stops include Frankfurt, Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Paris, with Smith also headlining major international festivals such as Mawazine in Morocco, POSITIV in France, Dreambeach in Spain, and the BIG ART Festival in Italy.

Based on a True Story features collaborations with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross. The album includes previously released singles “First Love,” “Beautiful Scars,” “TANTRUM,” “Work of Art,” and the uplifting “You Can Make It.”
