Benny The Butcher Announces ‘Summertime Butch 2,’ Drops New Single “Summer 25”

Benny The Butcher is locked in for another summer takeover. The Buffalo native has officially announced his next project, Summertime Butch 2, set to drop on July 16, 2025, also known as “716 Day” in his hometown.

Following the release of Summertime Butch in August 2024, Benny stayed active with Excelsior, a May 2025 project that featured Boldy James, Styles P, Harry Fraud, Daringer, and his Black Soprano Family crew. Now, he returns with “Summer 25,” a gritty new single and video that sets the tone for what’s next.

Known for his unrelenting lyricism and street-centered storytelling, Benny continues to elevate while repping his city and label with pride. Summertime Butch 2 promises more heat from one of hip-hop’s most consistent voices, landing just in time to soundtrack the season.
