A!MS Introduces Global Street with Peak Season

British-Cypriot rapper, producer, and entrepreneur A!MS has never been content with boundaries. From his early days with the pioneering So Solid Crew to collaborations with Cool & Dre, The Game, Wiley, and Julian Marley, his career has been defined by cultural crossovers and reinvention. With his new nine-track release Peak Season, he is making his most ambitious statement yet: the creation of a new genre he calls “Global Street.”

Global Street is presented as a natural progression of Hip-Hop, built for an era where influence comes from far beyond traditional industry structures. Designed with digital creators, sneaker enthusiasts, streamers, and cultural trendsetters in mind, the style brings together diverse communities under one sonic identity.

The sound draws from multiple worlds: the raw energy of London’s pirate radio scene, the Mediterranean influences of Cyprus, and A!MS’ own Lebanese-Italian heritage. He envisions Global Street as a meeting point for voices from every corner of the globe — proof that the next generation of stars can rise from anywhere.

Much of Peak Season was recorded in Cyprus, which A!MS describes as both overlooked by the global music industry and yet crucial to his artistic vision. He compares the island’s role to Jamaica’s importance to Bob Marley — distant from the industry’s center but fertile ground for innovation.

To celebrate the launch, A!MS expanded his long-running Wave Fest in Ayia Napa, already known for hosting the Mediterranean’s largest sound system. This year’s event united the project’s collaborators on stage, reinforcing his position not only as an artist but as a cultural architect intent on reshaping how global music is defined.

With Peak Season, A!MS signals the start of what he hopes will be an international movement — one where the streets of the world meet in a single sound.
