Lambrini Girls Withdraw From Coachella Following Serious Band Injury
A Difficult Decision for Lambrini Girls
The highly anticipated Coachella debut of U.K. punk-noise outfit Lambrini Girls has been canceled. Following the breakout success of their 2025 debut album, Who Let The Dogs Out, the band was slated to perform at the 2026 festival. However, the group has confirmed they will no longer be appearing after a band member sustained a harrowing injury during their recent tour of Australia.
The Nature of the Injury
In a candid statement shared via the band’s Instagram, guitarist and lead vocalist Phoebe Lunny revealed the severity of her condition. “Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury,” Lunny explained. She noted that the injuries were initially misdiagnosed, which delayed the necessary medical intervention. As a result, she is currently unable to fly or perform, with a recovery timeline estimated at up to six weeks.
“We have received quite a lot of messages regarding Coachella, we are so gutted, guys,” the band stated. “We want to be there so badly. If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it. This isn’t something we are taking lightly and we are really sad.”
Rescheduling U.S. and Canadian Tour Dates
Beyond their absence from the Coachella lineup, the band has been forced to push back their headlining spring tour across the United States and Canada. The band remains committed to their fans and has announced the following rescheduled dates for later in the year:
- June 16 – New York, NY @ Warsaw
- June 17 – Boston, Mass. @ Paradise Rock Club
- June 19 – Montreal, QC @ Beanfield Theatre
- June 20 – Toronto, ON @ The Concert Hall
- Sept. 27 – Indianapolis, Ind. @ The Vogue
- Sept. 28 – Detroit, Mich. @ Majestic Theatre
- Sept 29 – Chicago, Ill. @ The Vic Theatre
- Oct. 1 – Kansas City, Mo. @ Granada
- Oct. 2 – St. Louis, Mo. @ Delmar Hall
- Oct. 4 – Atlanta, Ga. @ Variety Playhouse

Despite these changes, Lambrini Girls are still currently slated to perform at the Washington, D.C. Vans Warped Tour stop on June 13-14 and at Bonnoroom in Manchester, Tenn., on June 12, pending further medical clearance.
