Swae Lee may be practicing social distancing like the rest of the world, but that’s clearly not stopping him from catering to his fans. The Rae Sremmurd rapper hopped on Instagram Live and put on an undeniably energetic performance, complete with crowd surfacing — sans crowd.
In a clip, Swae jumps all over the place before finally diving onto the floor as if the crowd is going to catch him. He then pretends to be carried by the imaginary audience back to the stage. As part of his performance, he also collects the bras and underwear of several women as if they were being thrown at him.
Swae’s fans were fully involved in the performance as well. He had several fans join him “on stage” by bringing them into his Instagram Live broadcast.
“I’m going to bring you on stage right now, Live chat,” he announced. “Drop the red phone emoji if you wanna come on stage.”
At one point, he acted like a fan rushed him and had to be taken out by security as he punched a stuffed rabbit and shouted,”Nobody’s supposed to be on stage! Security get him out of here!”
In the process, Swae revealed his next album was finished.
“I’ve been spending 18-hour days in the studio working on his album and I think this title is just so perfect for it,” he said. “The name of my album is ‘Human Nature.’”
The tentatively titled Human Nature will serve as the follow-up to 2018’s Swaecation, which was part of the SR3MM (SremmLife 3) triple album. The project features guest appearances by Juicy J, Travis Scott, Future, Pharrell, Young Thug, The Weeknd and Zoë Kravitz, among others.
