Lil Uzi Vert has earned the second No. 1 album of his career.
Billboard reports the Atlantic Records artist’s Eternal Atake LP hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart in its first week. Uzi previously reached No. 1 with 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2 album.
Uzi’s sophomore LP sold 288,000 album equivalent units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Although Eternal Atake sold less than 9,000 copies in terms of pure album sales, it racked up 400 million on-demand streams. That’s the fourth-largest streaming week in history and the most since Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V earned 433 million streams in 2018.
Eternal Atake was released on March 6. A week after the oft-delayed LP arrived, Uzi dropped a deluxe version of the album titled LUV Vs. The World 2. The expanded edition features 14 new songs and serves as a sequel to his 2016 mixtape Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World.
Other notable debuts on the latest Billboard 200 include Jhené Aiko’s CHILOMBO and Megan Thee Stallion’s Suga.
Aiko’s LP sold 152,000 album equivalent units, helping her secure the No. 2 spot. CHILOMBO is now her highest-charting album.
Megan scored the second Top 10 project of her career as Suga entered at No. 10. The EP moved 41,000 equivalent album units after being released amid a dispute with her label 1501 Certified Entertainment.
