Watch Supergrass Cover The Smiths With Johnny Marr

Supergrass are in the midst their reunion tour, and a few days ago they were joined by a very special guest. The band played at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Thursday night, and Johnny Marr came up on stage with them.

They performed a cover the Smiths’ “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want” with Marr and Gaz Coombes trading f vocals, and then Marr stuck around to help out with Supergrass’ 1997 In It For The Money track “Sun Hits The Sky.” Per The Manchester Evening News, Coombes introduced Marr as “the nicest fucking guy you’ll ever meet” and prefaced their performance with “This is like a dream! Here he is!”
