RND Freeman & Jupleci’s New Music Video Is Titled “Picasso” (Watch)
Runaway Generation’s promising, young Canadian signees, rappers, and songwriters RND Freeman and Jupleci have recently dropped a new track titled “Picasso.” The release is a follow-up to the duo’s previous works “Dead Weight” and “Phony.” Similar to its predecessors, the song comes along with a jaw-dropping music video. The visuals show the artists giving interviews as they rap, while some really funny texts appear under the screen claiming that “Snoop Gives Up Weed” or that “Masturbation Causes Depression.” Considering the sharpness of their verses, it is not a surprise to get a good portion of sarcasm reflected visually from the two. They fully showcase their multi-talented nature while displaying confident acting skills and special charisma in the video.
“Picasso” sounds like a mixture of diverse hip-hop subgenres, with flawless sonic structures, atmospheric soundscapes and dominating grooviness. It is as edgy as the best of modern hip-hop joints and as heavy-hitting as the epic old-school tunes, making the track both refreshing and nostalgic.
