South Side Yoko Teams Up With G Perico On ‘Westside’

‘Westside’ takes off with a smooth instrumental to transform into a fully developed bouncy summerish hit. The chill instrumental vibe carries the track, while it’s layered with pointy beats, and raps from South Side Yoko and G Perico. 

South Side Yoko gets us psyched with his flow, and the way he drops his lines – on point, rhythmical and perfectly layered on every beat. The featured vocals are catchy, and can give a serious brainworm after the first listen, so don’t be surprised if you walk around singing ‘We can slide on the Westside and it’s on me!’ for the upcoming few days. 

South Side Yoko has gone a long way in finding his sound since his debut 2018 EP ‘So Far So Good,’ in which he blended old school beats, samples and delivered more aggressive lyrics. His latest release is way more matured and polished, and so far his best work dropped. We are hyping our Virginia homie, and looking forward to hearing more, peace!
