Vigorous Drop From Swedish Artist Alex Alexander – EP Titled ‘Helpless’
Alex Alexander finally did what we were all waiting for, after dropping banger after banger, he released a debut EP, a 5 tracks collection of vigorous tunes balancing somewhere between mainstream sounds and independent music intimacy.
‘Helpless’ carries all signatures of Alex Alexander’s artistry – it’s perfectly calculated and incorporates elements of pop, EDM, and in this case some Latin flavors. Throughout the whole EP, Alex Alexander shows how great a guitarist he is, and channels some acoustic vibes here or there.
The absolute highlight of the album is a track under the same title ‘Helpless.’ The song showcases Alex sharing his life experiences of falling for a wrong person, and while he sings ‘I know that I’m reckless / Maybe I’m helpless’ the catchy melody puts listeners in a good mood and entertains them the whole time.
Alex Alexander was waiting quite long with releasing any collection, as he explained in the interview with HONK Magazine “We wanted to make sure that my first bigger project was really thought through in terms of sound, style and the look of the artwork. I could have squeezed even more songs but it just felt like this tracklist was perfect and it came together very organically.”
