According to Deadline, Fif is turning his bestselling book The 50th Law, into a Netflix series with the help of Black-ish creator and executive producer, Kenya Barris. The two have been some of the biggest TV producers over the last decade, so it was only right that they come together on a project.

The 50th Law, which is co-authored by Robert Greene, is a semi-autobiographical story of 50 Cent’s rise to where he is today. It includes words of wisdom from notable figures like Sun Tzu, Socrates, Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, Malcolm X, and James Baldwin.

The idea to adapt the book was brought to Kenya Barris by longtime collaborator, Hale Rothstein. Rothstein and Barris are set to write the show’s pilot and executive produce the series through Barris’s production company, Khalabo Ink Society. 50 will serve as an executive producer via his G-Unit Film & Television banner.
