The city of Detroit will be celebrating March 13 as 313 Day, in honor of the city’s zip code. In celebration, SNIPES, Adidas, and the Detroit Pistons have come together for a co-branded mobile truck that will be making stops throughout Detroit and will host the exclusive sneaker along with apparel giveaways. Stops include the six Metro Detroit SNIPES stores, schools, and community centers.
The Forum, inspired by the back to back Championships of the Pistons in 1989-1990 & 1990-1991, features premium leather upper and iconic 3-stripes detailing. The sneaker will only be available from the truck in limited quantities this weekend and will retail for $110.
The sneaker is tagged on the toebox with the years of the Pistons back-to-back championships and a heel tab with the letter “D.” There is also a set of secondary laces with a criss-cross ankle strap system with an adidas logo on the front. “Back to Back” apears on the reverse side.
The sneaker also features a Dellinger web on the medial arch.
