Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna, Romeo Santos Are Artist of the Year Finalists For 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards
Full list of finalists in 59 categories will be revealed at 1 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 5).
Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna and Romeo Santos are finalists for artist of the year at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
The four artists were announced as finalists on the Telemundo morning show Un Nuevo Día. The program revealed the finalists for three out of the 59 categories, which will be given out April 23 on the Billboard Latin Music Awards, taking place in Las Vegas and airing on Telemundo. More finalists will be revealed during a livestream announcement on the @premiosbillboard Instagram account with a full list announced at 1:00 pm EST.
Also announced during Un Nuevo Día were finalists for new artist of the year and Regional Mexican song of the year categories. Vying for new artist of the year is Jhay Cortez, Manuel Turizo, Paulo Londra and Sech.
In the very eclectic Regional Mexican song of the year category, the finalists are “A Través Del Vaso” by Banda los Sebastianes de Mazatlán, Sinaloa; “Simplemente Gracias” by Calibre 50; “De Los Besos Que Te Di” by Christian Nodal and “Nunca Es Suficiente” by Los Ángeles Azuels featuring Natalia Lafourcade.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will close out LatinFest+, presented by Billboard and Telemundo, a three-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin music, culture and entertainment. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, LatinFest+, formerly known as Billboard Latin Music Week, will include superstar conversations, workshops, live concerts, fan experiences, and will feature artists such as J Balvin, Rosalía, Los Tigres del Norte, and Ozuna, among many others.
