Kanye West’s mental state has been the subject of debate as of late. Last summer, West’s mental breakdown at his own rally in South Carolina and then string of chaotic tweets seemed to be the tipping point. Many determined he was experiencing a manic episode as a result of being bi-polar. West has been relatively quiet since then.
Now, a recently surfaced clip from last summer shows Kanye West screaming at Chance the Rapper inside of a studio. The nearly minute-long clip is from an upcoming YZY TV produced DONDA album documentary, which is supposed to give a behind the scenes look at West’s forthcoming, and delayed, project.
In the clip, Dame Dash details the incident, saying that Kanye wanted all of his people around him when he was finishing up his album. Chance the Rapper saw what he had been reading about Kanye in the headlines and came to check Kanye. Thats when things went south.

“So, you know, Kanye is finishing his album and there’s people around. Chance, honestly, because of what he was reading, he came through just to check Kanye. You know, again, Kanye deals with his issues at all times. They got into it, but they worked it out. At the end of the day, Chance was there just to be a friend.”
Ye and Chance were then seen arguing in the clip, with Kanye yelling at Chance “Sit your ass down and listen to the album or leave.”
Afterwards, everybody went outside for a group pic. Chance is seen telling Kanye a joke that had him bust out into laughter.
