6ix9ine gets dissed and praised by DJ Funk Flex for his new song. Funk Flex shares his opinion about the rapper 6ix9nine saying “I’m not going to play this.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine has earned the position of Hip-Hop’s “supervillain.” Despite public opinion about him, has still been able to establish a successful rap career; Considering his early release from prison last year. Although his comeback album Tattle Tales is considered a flop, the Dummy Boy rapper was also named YouTube’s most-viewed rapper in 2020. Additionally, the title led to beating out beloved artists like Youngboy Never Broke Again, Lil Baby, and more.

Furthermore, this year Tekashi appears ready to take back the spotlight. He aims to do so in the face of numerous criticisms. Doja Cat gave the rapper a slight jab on her verse for the “34+35” remix. Additionally, he was ridiculed for reportedly asking Benny the Butcher for a feature. Moreover, the Brooklyn rapper is finally shifting the public’s attention to his music.

Recently returning with new music, the rapper shares a video on his Instagram teasing a new song. He captions it with, “ARE YOU READY?????”

The “TROLLZ” rapper also debuts a completely new look, featuring a full-grown beard, additional body ink, and different colored hair. As previously reported,  the unnamed song sounds like a return to form for 6ix9ine. It sounds similar to the music output that he used to release on sound cloud.

Once DJ Funkmaster Flex caught wind of the snippet, he also shares the clip on his personal IG. In his repost, Funk Flex both praises and disses the track.

In the caption, Funk Flex states, “I’m not going to play this… BUT this is thumping! Just My Opinion!” The legendary disc jockey immediately started with a disclaimer that he won’t be playing it on the radio, but his public co-sign is definitely a polarizing hot take.
