Juelz Santana took to Instagram to announce that he is officially off house arrest.
“Officially off house arrest…” The Hip Hop veteran wrote accompanied with a video documenting the moment his ankle bracelet was removed.
Juelz Santana was released in August 2020 after serving 19 months out of a 27-month sentence for weapons charges.
In March 2018, he was arrested at Newark Airport after “a Transportation Security Administration agent identified a suspected firearm,” according to court documents.
The Dipset rapper has since been keeping out of trouble and spending quality time with his family. He will presumably appear on the next season of Love and Hip Hop: New York, alongside his wife, Kimbella.
It feels like a restoration day in New York City because Bobby Shmurda was released after serving a six-year prison sentence.
Congratulations to both New York rappers regaining their freedom.
