Just to Be Clear, Ozzy Osbourne Says No More Tours 2 is Not Canceled

It’s just being put off for a while.

Ozzy Osbourne wants to make one thing very clear: his No More Tours 2 North American dates are not canceled, just postponed. After recently revealing a diagnosis of P2 — a milder form of Parkinson's disease — Osbourne announced that he would have to once again put planned U.S. and Canadian dates on ice while he seeks treatment overseas. 

“I cannot go out on the road, until I’m 100 percent confident that I can pull it off,” Ozzy said in an interview with Radio.com. He wanted to stress again that the shows have been postponed, not canceled. "If I go out now and I can’t carry on, people are gonna think I’ve lost the plot, ya know. So I’m not gonna go out there until I can give them the show that I want to give them, because it’s not fair to them. I mean I've waited this long. I'm intending on going back out on the road."

In announcing the change of plans for the tour that has been rescheduled several times due to the 71 year-old singer's various health issues over the past year, Osbourne said in an earlier statement that he appreciated fans' support after what can only be termed a super-rough year. "I'm so thankful that everyone has been patient because I've had a sh– year," he said. "Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks."

"I don't want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it's just not fair to the fans. I'd rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time," he added of the outing that had 27 dates left on it and was slated to kick off again in May, with Marilyn Manson supporting
