Kim Kardashian West inks a new deal with Spotify to draw more awareness to Criminal Justice Reform and those who face wrongful convictions. Kardashian-West has worked with the non-profit group, the Innocence Project, for the past several years. The group works to exonerate wrongfully convicted individuals through DNA tests. Through this initiative, she has financed and helped bring awareness to a number of cases, where individuals were found innocent.
According to reports, the fashion and cosmetic reality star are set to host and produce the podcast with television producer, Lori Rothschild Ansaldi. Kim, 39, has invested time and resources in the fight against criminal justice reform for the past few years. Currently, she is studying to be a lawyer and is preparing to take the California Bar examination in the near future.
Earlier this year, Oxygen aired Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project. The documentary followed Kim’s progress in helping to grant clemency for Alice Marie Johnson. Johnson served almost 22 years in prison for a nonviolent drug offense. After meeting with Donald Trump, Kardashian West successfully helped to free Alice Marie Johnson.
With her new podcast, exclusively on Spotify, she looks to continue this initiative.
