Lil Uzi Vert on Twitter: “OG and Hov said I’m Like Prince, so I’m Lil Prince now.”
The Eternal Atake rapper claims JAY-Z compared him to Prince, which is a heavy co-sign considering the Brooklyn rapper’s relationship with the late singer.

Uzi didn’t provide any extra details about their conversation, but he followed-up by thanking several people from Roc Nation. “Thank you … Des, Juan and Hov. Changing my life as we speak,” he wrote.
Lil Uzi Vert always described himself as a “rock star” so he’s presumably honored to be compared to Prince.
“Trap rap rockstar. I want to be as big as I can be,” he previously told XXL. “I want to be one of the biggest artists. I want to be remembered like, ‘He is crazy. He is phenomenal.’ I just want to be one of the biggest.”
The Philly rapper recently made headlines after implanting a $24 million pink diamond on his forehead.
“I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now,” Uzi tweeted. “This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.”
