Meet the Producer of the Year Finalists at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards
Working alongside leading finalists at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards, producers Tainy, Dímelo Flow, DJ Snake and Mambo Kingz are instrumental to creating chart-topping songs. All are finalists at this year's awards, vying to take home the producer of the year title.
The only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, the Billboard Latin Music Awards are determined by the actual sales, streaming, radio airplay and social data that informs Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period from the rankings dated Feb. 2, 2019, through this year's Jan. 25 charts.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2020 will broadcast live Thursday, April 23, Telemundo.

Tainy
Thanks to songs from Bad Bunny's debut album X100PRE and J Balvin and Bunny's joint album Oasis, Tainy placed a total of 19 entries on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart in 2019. Now also venturing out as a solo act, Tainy, whose real name is Marco Masis, has been in the spotlight since 2005 when he was credited as one of the producers on Luny Tunes' Mas Flow 2. He's worked with old-school reggaetoneros like Wisin & Yandel, De La Ghetto and Jowell & Randy.
Dimelo Flow
The Panamanian producer is behind chart-topping songs like Anitta's "Downtown" and Dalex's "Pa Mí." He's also credited with discovering fellow Panamanian up-and-coming artist Sech, with whom he produced and co-wrote the urban hit "Otro Trago," which landed Sech his first No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Aug. 10, 2019). Like Tainy, Dímelo Flow also recently kicked off his career as an artist-producer.
DJ Snake
Smash hit "Taki Taki" ruled the Billboard charts, spending 13 weeks at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs. The bilingual track features Selena Gomez, Cardi B and Ozuna. In the past, the French producer has worked with artists like Justin Bieber, Lil Jon and Major Lazer and first charted in 2014 with the Lil Jon-assisted "Turn Down for What."
Mambo Kingz
Composed of Edgar and Xavier Semper, the producer duo is behind chart-toppers like "Baila Baila Baila (remix)" with Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Farruko and Anuel AA, Ozuna's "Amor Genuino" and "Te Soñé de Nuevo." In 2015, the duo, along with DJ Luian, launched their independeing record label Hear This Music.
The awards show is the culmination of LatinFest+, produced by Billboard and Telemundo, which is a three-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin music, culture and entertainment taking place April 20-23 at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, LatinFest+, formerly known as Billboard Latin Music Week, will include superstar conversations, workshops, live concerts, fan experiences, and will feature artists such as J Balvin, Rosalía, Los Tigres del Norte, and Ozuna, among many others.
