Colorado-based MC One Lou has made a name for himself by way of his uplifting and gripping raps. In his latest visual “Goin’ Thru It” Lou shows how resiliency and will power can get anyone through the struggle.

Following the visual for “Mind Over Muscle” the video for “Goin’ Thru It” captures much of the same realism and raw emotion. Lou struggles with the grips of depression, alcohol abuse and isolation throughout the visual-short. H does an incredible job illustrating his feeling each verse as he raps, “Been so far away from self ain’t no way that I can make it/ Say this dollar is so evil/ We ain’t gone make it unless we chase it.”

Both “Goin’ Thru It” and “Mind Over Muscle’ are featured on One Lou’s recent project Lessons. The 10-track solo effort features balanced and thoughtful flows sure to please any Hip Hop head. Lou expects to release the deluxe edition of Lessons before the end of 2020.
