Sam Hunt Sets First Headlining Date of 2020 With NHL Stadium Series Gig: Exclusive

Sam Hunt rang in 2020 live from New York City’s Times Square as part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest, and now the country star has revealed his first headlining date of the year.

On Feb. 15, the “Kinfolks” singer will serve as headliner during the 2020 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series outdoor game, Billboard can exclusively announce.

Hunt will perform during the game’s first intermission between the Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Tickets for the performance will be available Ticketmaster. The set will be televised at 8:00 p.m. Feb. 15 on NBC.

The news comes days after Hunt released his new song, “Sinning With You,” off his upcoming sophomore album expected later this year. Hunt penned the reflective tune with Paul DiGiovanni, Josh Osborne, and Emily Weisband. It follows current single “Kinfolks.”
