This NFL season was both a statement from Aaron Rodgers and another moment of coming up short in the big game. After losing 31-26 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rodgers spoke with the media and revealed the uncertainty surrounding his future in Green Bay.
“A lot of guys’ futures are uncertain, myself included,” Rodgers said. “That’s what’s sad about it, getting this far. The uncertainties is tough, the finality of it all.”
Rodgers deal can hold him as a Packer through 2023 and it would be hard to imagine Green Bay trading away the presumptive league MVP, however, the Packers are holding a young stud in Jordan Love on the bench, believed to be their quarterback of the future.

“I really don’t know. There’s a lot of unknowns going into this offseason now”, Rodgers said. “I’m gonna have to take some time away, for sure, and just clear my head and just kinda see what’s going on with everything. It’s pretty tough right now, especially thinking about the guys that may or may not be here next year. That makes the finality of it all kind of you hit you like a ton of bricks.”
Rodgers put up an impressive 33-for-38 with 346 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the loss.
