SOURCE SPORTS: Anthony Davis to Miss Weeks with Calf Strain

The Los Angeles Lakers will have to go without Anthony Davis for at least the next two to three weeks. The all-star big has been diagnosed with a calf strain and will not return before the March 5-10 NBA All-Star break.

According to ESPN, Davis is experiencing tendonosis aggravation and a calf straight, but not a ruptured right Achilles.

Davis sustained his injury during the second quarter of the game against the Nuggets on Sunday. Last week, Davis sat out two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Davis returned for one game against the Memphis Grizzlies and scored 35 points on 16-for-27 shooting.
