'The Voice' Contestant Zan Fiskum Is One With Nature for Bob Dylan 'Blowin' in the Wind' Performance

The Voice kicked off its at-home live rounds on Monday night (May 4), in which the contestants perform from the comfort of their homes and the judges watch via video chat.

Team Legend’s Zan Fiskum was first up to bat, delivering a profound performance of Bob Dylan‘s “Blowin’ in the Wind.”

“How many years can a mountain exist / Before it’s washed to the sea? / How many years must some people exist / Before they’re allowed to be free?” she sang, and looked the part too. Fiskum performed the tune from an airstream, surrounded by flora and fauna.

“Zan, it was so beautiful. You have such artistry, such a gift, such a journey you took us on with this song,” the contestant’s coach, John Legend, gushed. “Every part of your voice, you had such nuance and subtlety in all of the choices you made.”

“Everything felt so intentional and purposeful, and it was a gorgeous, gorgeous performance,” Legend concluded, before Kelly Clarkson chimed that the performance was the “best version” she’s ever heard.

The show sent production kits with camera and audio equipment to each artist and provided wardrobe and guidance on choreography and art direction to help enhance performances.
