Three Six Zero International Partners With La Industria Inc.: Exclusive

Three Six Zero International, the multi-media management and entertainment company whose client list includes Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, has partnered with La Industria Inc. in a global bid to develop Latin talent. La Industria, based out of Medellín, Colombia, is the management company that represents Nicky Jam, Manuel Turizo and ChocQuibtown, among others.

Already, the combined efforts of both companies yielded a role for Nicky Jam in the film Bad Boys For Life and the placement of the single “Muévelo” by Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee, on the film and its soundtrack.

“This important strategic alliance reinforces Three Six Zero’s commitment to Latin music and will turn La Industria into a key partner to our fast growing International division,” said Mark Gillespie, founder of Three Six Zero International.

In October, Three Six Zero hired former Sony Music Latin senior VP Lorenzo Braun to head its new, Miami based international division. In Sony, Braun had worked closely with La Industry and its founder, Juan Diego Medina.

By the same token, Will Smith has a longstanding love affair with Latin music and Latin culture. He’s good friends with Nicky Jam and Marc Anthony, with whom he released the single “Está rico,” also featuring Bad Bunny.

“This critically important partnership between our companies comes as a full circle moment in the long standing relation between both artists and management teams,” said Braun.

“As I’ve gotten closer to my boy Nicky Jam and the whole La Industria family over the past few years, my appreciation for Latin entertainment has only grown,” said Smith.  “I’m excited to launch a partnership like this to help artists reach their full potential globally”.

While Nicky Jam is La Industria’s best-known client, the partnership will also benefit its other clients, including urban/fusion trio ChocQuibtown and young singer/songwriter Manuel Turizo.
