Vanessa Bryant continues to honor her late husband and daughter who passed away in a helicopter in late January.
The widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant tatted a message that Kobe wrote her on her right shoulder and neck. She had the words inscribed on her right wrist in Gianna’s handwriting.
The tattoos are Vanessa’s latest tribute was a birthday gift to herself. She revealed she found an unopened love letter from Kobe, but didn’t disclose the message.
Vaness is currently working on the release Of a young adult novel written by Kobe before his death, called Geese Are Never Swans.
Over the last four months, Vanessa expressed the pain she felt when Kobe didn’t get to witness firsthand what she called “the peak of his NBA career” after he was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in April.
Vanessa Bryant’s tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado did the artwork in the hallways of her home in Newport Beach, posting on Instagram saying “I wanted my boo boo’s @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me” and “So happy I can see my Gigi’s handwriting every day.”
