Vybz Kartel Announces Worl’ Boss Summer 2025 Tour
The King of Dancehall is officially outside.
Vybz Kartel has announced his highly anticipated Worl’ Boss Summer 2025 Tour, marking a historic moment in music as the Dancehall icon sets his sights on stages around the globe. The announcement comes alongside the release of his vibrant new single and video, “Pretty Girl,” a high-energy anthem tailor-made for summer.
Kartel’s return to live performance has been nothing short of electric. This past Saturday (May 17), he lit up Miami’s Amerant Bank Arena in front of a sold-out crowd, his third U.S. show since his visa was reinstated earlier this year—ending a more than 20-year absence from American stages. His stateside comeback kicked off in April with two back-to-back, sold-out performances at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, proving his fanbase remains as fervent as ever.
Next up: a full-fledged stadium takeover.

The Worl’ Boss Summer 2025 Tour will hit major U.S. cities including Atlanta, Baltimore, and Atlantic City, before Kartel crosses the Atlantic for festival dates across Europe. He’ll take over Wireless Festival in London, SummerJam in Cologne, and headline arena shows in Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Birmingham, and a second show at London’s O2 Arena. The Caribbean leg includes a hero’s welcome at Jamaica’s Reggae Sumfest, plus appearances at Trinidad’s One Caribbean Music Festival and the St. Kitts Music Festival. Kartel will also headline Malta’s Freedom Street Europe Festival, part of a slate of September dates that will wrap up what promises to be a landmark tour.
“I have had so many blessings this year,” Kartel shared. “The summer is ours, and we are ready to take the world by storm — more passport stamps, more ‘Pretty Girls,’ and endless possibilities.”
Kartel’s story is one of resilience, dominance, and rebirth. After serving 13 years in prison for a murder conviction he always denied—and that was eventually overturned—the Dancehall titan returned home last summer with a renewed purpose. But even behind bars, Kartel never left the charts. He released hits, mentored stars like Popcaan and Spice, and earned a gold plaque for his U.S. smash “Fever.” His global influence has drawn praise from the likes of Drake, Cardi B, and Rihanna.
Since his release, Kartel has headlined Kingston’s National Stadium for over 30,000 fans, sold out arenas in Brooklyn and Miami, earned his first Grammy nomination, won the MOBO Impact Award, and graced the covers of Billboard and The Face. His Viking: 10th Year Anniversary album continues to build momentum, with the standout track “God Is The Greatest” racking up more than 7 million views on YouTube.
This isn’t just a comeback—it’s a coronation. And summer 2025 belongs to Vybz Kartel.
