While speaking to the Director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Mary T. Bassett, Harlem fashion legend Daniel “Dapper Dan” Day talks with Bassett about some of the most frequently mentioned concerns in the urban community about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Bassett guides Dan into the Family Health Center of Harlem, where he checks in and gets vaccinated. Despite the negative press that highlights people who have reportedly gotten sick or died from after effects of the vaccine, Dan made a valiant effort to reassure Harlem and the Black and Brown community in general that the vaccine is indeed safe.
