2021 marks the 24th anniversary of the death of one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved stars, The Notorious B.I.G. The world of Rap music paused on March 9, 1997, as the life of Christopher Wallace was taken far too soon at the age of 24. He was survived by his mother, Voletta Wallace, ex-wife, Faith Evans, and two children T’yanna and CJ.

Netflix’s upcoming documentary follows Biggie’s rise to rap superstardom from his humble beginning on Brooklyn’s streets to the studio of Bad Boy Records under the direction of Diddy. The doc features interviews and testimonies from Puff, his mother Voletta Wallace, Junior Mafia member, Lil Cease, and more. Biggie: I got A Story To Tell is a celebration of the legendary rapper’s life and legacy with rare behind the scene footage.

Back in 2009, his biopic, Notorious was released, starring Jamal Woolard, Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, Naturi Naughton, and more. In 2020, The Notorious B.I.G. was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Take a look at the upcoming documentary below.
