Watch Ozzy Osbourne Go ‘Straight to Hell’ in Riot-Filled Video
Ozzy Osbourne is exactly where he likes to be in the fiery video for "Straight to Hell": the middle of violent chaos.
The Blizzard of Ozz released the pulse-pounding clip for the second single from his upcoming Ordinary Man album on Monday (Jan. 6), in which he calmly sits center stage in the middle of a pitched street battle bewteen protesters and riot-gear-wiellding police.
"I'll make you scream/ I'll make you defecate/ Straight to hell tonight/ We're going straight to hell/ Straight to hell tonight," Osbourne bellows in the galloping chorus as anarchists waving axes, chainsaws, firebombs, swords and machetes — as well as signs that read "I'm Grounded For Life," "Now You've Pissed off Grandma!!" and "The Devil Is My Best Friend" — shake their fists at the helmet-wearing officers firing tear gas.
Amidst it all, the 70-year-old metal icon sings about meeting you in the underworld from the safety of a limo's back seat and a park bench in the middle of the pitched battle. Wearing a black hooded cape, dark eye makeup and leaning on a gold-tipped cane, Osbourne seems unfazed by the wanton destruction all around in scenes resembling the recent street battles between protesters and police in Hong Kong. Only in Ozzy's world, the fight ends with what appears to be an atomic bomb explosion.
"Hell" is the second video from Ordinary Man — due out early this year — following on the heels of the cinematic clip for the collection's first single, "Under the Graveyard."
