Weathers Premiere Catchy New Single ‘Feel Good’ Ahead of Echosmith Tour: Exclusive

Rising rock band Weathers unveiled their new single, "Feel Good," on Thursday (Jan. 23), exclusively  Billboard.

On the synth-laden track, frontman Cameron Boyer grapples with feeling lost while searching for elusive good vibes. "Goin' for a joy ride/ Lookin' for some new skies, I don't mind/ I just wanna feel good/ I don't seek the same dream/ I'll go do my own thing, all the time/ I just wanna feel good," he intones on the song's punchy chorus.

According to Boyer, the single was inspired by a particularly dark time, which he describes as a "slippery slope" he fell into while on tour at the beginning of 2019. "It's a reflection of how I felt at the time, but also how I wanted to feel better," he tells Billboard. "I didn't want to feel that way; I didn't like feeling that way. It was dark and lonely. And all I wanted was to get out."

Starting next month, the Los Angeles-based rockers will be hitting the road as the opening act of Echosmith's Lonely Generation Tour, which kicks off Feb. 12 at Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club. The run of dates then hits 13 other major cities across North Americ, including stops in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Seattle, before wrapping up March 5 at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood.
