Zelgin Jackson Drops ‘Chapter 1: Dedication’ on His Birthday
Virginia native Zelgin Jackson has released his new hip-hop album, Chapter 1: Dedication, through UnitedMasters. The project serves as a sequel to 2023’s The Prologue and explores themes of romance, relationships, and heartache. Taking inspiration from fellow Virginian Pharrell Williams’ words—“I did it, you can do it, too”—Jackson continues to refine his artistry with improved melodies, lyricism, and production.
The album features contributions from manager Robert Frampton, engineer Kyle Williams, and hometown collaborator Lockedinkee, alongside producers discovered via social media.
“This is the second album out of a collection of music that is personal to me and updates my audience on emotions, feelings, and dilemmas I’m currently experiencing. In continuation with ‘The Prologue,’ ‘Chapter 1: Dedication’ was released on my birthday (Feb. 19th) as well. The emotions in this new album are raw and open,” Jackson said.
