Power ‘s “Hook Up” Unleashes Love & Resilience: A True Hoodmance Saga

Los Angeles homegrown lyrical maestro, Power, just dropped his fresh track “Hook Up,” right after setting the streets on fire with his banging EP,  Love & Hate. This joint is a raw testament to his gritty come-up, where he navigated through the mean streets, hustling and grinding. Through all the challenges, love emerged like a beam, giving him that sweet escape from his troubles. Now, he’s cherishing those moments, leaving the chaos of the past behind.

“Hook Up” paints a vivid picture of Power’s daily grind with his ride-or-die, reshaping their destiny and injecting pure happiness into the unforgiving streets. Love takes center stage, blurring the lines of reality as it shines brighter than existence itself. Two souls craft their own universe, protecting each other from the chaos of life. Amidst the battles they face, they uncover unparalleled joy in one another. Their shared aspirations weave them together, embracing deep satisfaction, poised to conquer all trials.

Spilling his heart out, Power delivers the lyrics: “I’m trying to be with ya/ I wanna see you/ I’m dying to be with ya/ You know I need you/ So down to meet ya/ Love what we do what we do/ So down to eat ya/ When we do what we do/ So down to meet ya/ Love what we do what we do/ So down to eat ya/ When we do what we do/ I’ve been Fallin out of time/ I’ve been floating out my mind/ Sumpin about your design/ Seeing you shine so divine/ Been reminiscing about us kissin/ Can’t get you out my system/ My Bae you got me wishin/ Yeah you really got me trippin.”

Accompanying “Hook Up” is an enticing music video, depicting two deeply in love individuals, living it up like couples do. Sharing heartfelt moments, the visuals kick off a saga called A True Hoodmance, where Power lays down a sincere vow to elevate his girl’s world. The tale concludes with a strong message, reminding everyone to clutch onto their dreams and self-confidence, no matter the grind they’re in.
